A fellow teacher yelled to me from the teachers' lounge down the 2nd grade hallway:
"Miss Tholand, did you know at Jcrew if you show them your teacher ID you get 15% off!?!?!?!"
"WHAT?! No way!!"
and apparently, one of the 2nd grade teachers and her entire classroom heard this interaction and about 5 seconds later I hear a chorus of 2nd grade voices yelling
"YES WAY!!!!"

Gotta LOVE those stories from the land of the rugrats! Get a journal and WRITE THEM DOWN! Elementary school stories are the BEST tales to tell at parties! People who do not teach are enthralled at the funny things that kids say and do. Even their names can be pretty entertaining! I had a child that ALWAYS call me Ms. Monogram! Funny how, sometimes, their little names just fit! ;-) One day, you may be the author of a BESTSELLER, with your collection! Thanks for the kind words on the new blog! It's FUN!
They also have some type of promotion for teachers at Ann Taylor Loft. I have seen it online only. You might want to check that out.
